The Cynosure Group Announces Promotions Across Cynosure Partners

SALT LAKE CITY & NEW YORK CITY – August 1, 2026 – The Cynosure Group ("Cynosure"), an independent alternatives asset manager and registered investment advisor, today announced the promotions of Chris Marsh and Connor McKernan to Senior Associate within Cynosure Partners, the firm's private growth equity and private credit investment platform. Effective August 1, 2026, these promotions recognize their significant contributions to the firm's investment activities, portfolio company value creation efforts, and team culture, while reflecting Cynosure's commitment.

Chris Marsh Promoted to Senior Associate Based in Cynosure's Salt Lake City office, Chris Marsh has been promoted to Senior Associate.

Since joining Cynosure in April 2023, Chris has played a meaningful role across multiple investments, contributing to transaction execution, portfolio company value creation, and cross-functional initiatives throughout the firm. He has built strong relationships with management teams and colleagues alike and has distinguished himself as a trusted mentor to junior investment professionals.

Prior to joining Cynosure, Chris served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore.

Connor McKernan Promoted to Senior Associate Based in Cynosure's New York City office, Connor McKernan has been promoted to Senior Associate.

Since joining Cynosure in April 2024, Connor has distinguished himself through strong investment execution while also helping lead several firmwide initiatives, including the team's AI efforts. He has developed trusted relationships across the firm and with portfolio company management teams, enabling him to contribute meaningfully to both transaction execution and long-term value creation.

Before joining Cynosure, Connor was an Investment Banking Analyst and later an Associate at Wells Fargo.
