The Cynosure Group Promotes Thiago Gomes to Associate

SALT LAKE CITY, NEW YORK – June 28, 2022 – The Cynosure Group (“Cynosure”), an independent alternatives asset manager and registered investment advisor, today announced the promotion of Thiago Gomes to Associate. Mr. Gomes works within the firm’s private markets investment team sourcing, diligencing and managing long-term investments in founder and management-owned businesses across a variety of sectors in North America.

Since joining the Salt Lake City office of Cynosure in early 2021, Mr. Gomes has made a meaningful impact to the firm’s investment and portfolio management efforts. Prior to joining Cynosure, Mr. Gomes was an Investment Analyst with BlackRock, Inc., a global investment management company headquartered in New York. Mr. Gomes graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in finance.
